About the CONRIM Initiative

The CONRIM (Consortium on Reducing Infant Mortality) initiative represents a groundbreaking partnership between Yale University, Penn State University, the National Planning Authority of Uganda, and the Busoga Kingdom to strengthen neonatal health surveillance and response systems across the Busoga region.

Our Mission: To integrate clinical, environmental, and demographic data to guide evidence-based policy, improve maternal and neonatal outcomes, and reduce preventable neonatal mortality through community-driven surveillance and intervention strategies.
